Inspiration for this piece came from memories of quick rising rain showers rolling through the farm fields and how the crops, flowers, plants and trees seemed so refreshed and more vibrant afterwards against the storm's still greyish sky.

Two initials are hidden in this painting in memory of a friend we lost suddenly while I was working on this piece.  A light that never turns on came on in our house that day. RIP friend, until we meet again.
